Long Wharf and Jones Salt Marsh is an public coastal area in Gloucester that doesn’t
look like much from the road but is a great place to enjoy a summer day. This small public parking area and boat landing is a great place to launch a small boat, fish or just hop in the water to cool off on a hot day. It is a great alternative if Crane Beach or some of the other popular spots are thronged on a hot summer day. It is also in the middle of a large salt marsh which is on the most biodiverse habitats in the world!
